 the excellent experience in Atlanta, last year 2024, at the Georgia tech University under the brilliant guide of Prof. Alper Erturk, the International Conference on Adaptive Structures and Technologies (ICAST) lands in Italia!

It is our pleasure to invite you to the 34th edition of the ICAST conference (ICAST 2025), which will be held in person from May 19-21, 2025, in Capua, a historical town in Southern Italy surrounded by fascinating memories of pre-Roman, Medieval, and Modern architectures.

ICAST is a series of international conferences dating back to its launch in 1990 as a joint USA-Japan conference held in Maui in its first year. For more than three decades, ICAST has been held at various locations in North America, Asia, and Europe. ICAST 2025 is the 34th of these successful conferences aiming to bring together researchers exploring a broad range of topics in smart/adaptive structures.

Organised by the Special Projects and the Adaptive Structures Units within the Italian Aerospace Research Centre (CIRA), ICAST 2025 will be hosted at the CIRA plants, using its wide hosting facilities. The Conference is proud to welcome the partnership of the Touring Club Italiano, Section of Capua, who organise the social-cultural moments of the event!
