Transportation
Airport
The nearest Airport is the International Airport of Napoli Capodichino, 45 km from Capua. From there it is possible to reach CIRA:
- By taxi
- By renting a car
From the International Airports of Roma Fiumicino or Ciampino, it is possible to:
- Rent a car,
- Take a train.
In the case of getting a train, you should follow these steps, depending on your arrival to Fiumicino or Ciampino:
- From Fiumicino airport:
- near the arrival and departure terminals, you can get to the Roma Termini train station (the main train station in Roma) with Leonardo express, a non-stop service that runs every 15 minutes and takes 32 minutes.
- From Ciampino Airport:
- a COTRAL/ SCHIAFFINI shuttle bus runs every 30 minutes to Ciampino train station. The average journey time is 5 minutes; the subway then connects the Ciampino train station to the Roma Termini main station (the main train station in Roma) and takes about 15 minutes.
Train
From Caserta or Napoli Centrale (the main train station in Napoli) train stations, it is possible to reach CIRA :
- by taxi
- by train up to the Capua train station, then by taxi to CIRA
- by bus from the Caserta and Napoli Centrale train stations to the centre of Capua, and then by taxi to CIRA
Motorway
Motorways access is very close to Napoli Train Station, Napoli Fiumicino Airport, and Rome Airports (both Fiumicino and Ciampino). Motoway access is not that easy from Roma Termini train station.
Once on the motoway, whatever it is, look for directions to the A1 (Autoroute N.1, Milano-Napoli):
- From Rome: drive to the South, direction Napoli;
- From napoli: drive to the North, direction Roma.
In both the cases, exit at Capua toll station.
